The tournament consists of 4 themed rounds: HTML Conquest, CSS Clash, JavaScript + Git Gauntlet, and The Final Siege. Each round tests different web development skills and includes quizzes, tasks, and eliminations.
Teams represent iconic Game of Thrones houses, each themed around a dev skillset. Examples include House Targaryen (React Lords), House Stark (CSS Defenders), and House Greyjoy (Backend Raiders). Each team has 2–4 members.
Tasks range from HTML-only page building, CSS styling challenges, JavaScript quizzes, Git operations, and full-stack website cloning. Each round is progressively more complex and creative.
Each round is scored out of 100 points based on accuracy, design, creativity, code quality, and presentation. The lowest-scoring teams are eliminated after each round until the final showdown.
Yes, in the final round teams may use frameworks like React, Next.js, Tailwind, and APIs. Earlier rounds restrict tools to test pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
Yes! Power Cards, medieval props, live leaderboards, and a Design Lord judge add flair and unpredictability. Teams can earn extra points or save themselves from elimination.
Faculty members or senior developers form the judging panel. The final winner is crowned based on total score, deployment success, and presentation quality.
